Things to do in Los Cabos

Los Cabos has plenty to do beyond the resorts, from beaches and marina walks to art, day trips, and local experiences worth going out of your way for. We recommend looking into the Los Cabos Passport. San José del Cabo Art Walk

Every Thursday evening, downtown San José del Cabo comes alive with galleries, local artists, food vendors, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It’s a great way to spend an evening — and come hungry.

Day Trip to Todos Santos & Cerritos

About an hour north of Cabo, Todos Santos and Cerritos make a great day trip. Spend some time exploring Todos Santos, stop at Tequila Sunrise for lunch and a Damiana margarita, then head toward the coast for The Green Room, Cerritos Beach, and Shaka’s before returning to Cabo.

See the Arch & Land’s End

We recommend the Tropicat Jazz & Wine Sunset Cruise through Pez Gato Amazing Adventures. It’s a relaxing way to see the Arch and coastline at sunset, with drinks, music, and great views. There are several cruise options to choose from, depending on the experience you’re looking for.

Medano Beach is one of Cabo’s most popular places to spend a day by the water. You’ll find beach clubs, restaurants, water activities, and plenty of people-watching, all with easy access from downtown Cabo San Lucas. It can get busy, so go earlier if you want a more relaxed start to the day.

These are the places and experiences we’d recommend first — the spots we think are especially worth your time when visiting Los Cabos.

1. Uno Más — A small, laid-back bar that’s easy to miss but worth finding. Drinks are inexpensive, the atmosphere is friendly, and it’s a great place to stop for a casual drink without the resort-bar prices.
